Garnett Newcombe is the CEO and Co-founder of Human Potential Consultants, LLC (HPC), which provides workforce solutions to governmental agencies at the federal, state and national level. Established in 1997, HPC has three solution-oriented divisions to deliver services to its customers. 1) Workforce Development – Pre-employment and job creation services for specialized populations requiring the necessary adjustments and re-adjustments for work readiness and employability. 2) Human Capital Management – assist government agencies requiring additional support personnel in meeting their agency mission. 3) Project Management – support services assist community-based organizations and correctional facilities with individuals re-turning to the community.

As Co-Founder of CEO Real Talk initiative, a national speaking series designed to deliver effective business strategies that promote long-term profitability in today’s competitive marketplace, Newcombe speaks to groups of entrepreneurs and business leaders across the US; Website: (www.ceorealtalk.com). She is a Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence board member, a non-profit organization, which focuses on women business owners succeeding to become millionaires. She is a member of the American Sociological Association (ASA), American Correctional Association (ACA) and National Correctional Industries Association (NCIA).

Newcombe has over 30 years of experience in community outreach, recruitment and program development. Her expertise in research and project management evolved while teaching as an Adjunct Professor at several Southern California community colleges and California State University, Dominguez Hills, for more than ten years. In addition, Newcombe is a wife, mother, mother-inlaw, grandmother and a sister to 11 siblings. All family members keep her grounded and focused.
